FBP Description

How FBP Works

  • Fluidized Bed Concept:
    • A fluidized bed is created by propelling hot air through an air distribution plate at the base of the container.
    • This hot air keeps the granules or particles suspended in an airy, fluidized state.
  • Spray Techniques:
    • Top Spray:
      • Ideal for wet granulation, coating, and drying.
      • The spray nozzle is positioned above the bed, spraying down onto the fluidized particles.

  • Bottom Spray (Wurster Fluid Bed):
